Vera Traff
We are sad to have to tell you that Vera lost her battle with cancer today.

Vera, we are missing you!!! Though I am relieved that your suffering has ended. I am so glad these pictures are here! We just got back from the Enbridge Rally. I found myself talking to total strangers about my friend Vera, who would have been there. Vera: passionate and steady rabble rouser for democracy, humanity, the environment and social justice, her thing for cats and my dog, Powder, not to mention her commitment to friends. Artist at heart - apartment an "installation" . We all collect things. Vera collected Kaliedescopes. I think that's how she saw the world in all its complexity colour and beauty. Miss you, Vera, you've given us all something beautiful and indescribable. We are all better for having been your friend. Peace and love, Julie
