Green Design:
The six-acre "living roof" houses thousands of indigenous plants and recovers rainwater for irrigation. Seawater heating and cooling and on-site water treatment. Fish habitat built into the building foundations.
As well along the path facing the water there are a number of placards honoring important people of the last 100 years who have made an impact & still are.

The first pic is the eagles that will be auctioned off next year to raise money for children's hospital. http://www.eaglesinthecity.com/. These 3 were in front of the Waterfront hotel. Then we saw the paddle boat for harbour Cruise.
We then walked along the waterfront of Coal Harbour, continuing to entrance to Stanley park & then to lost lagoon. The rhododendrons were in full bloom in the gardens & took the ladies to see the Blue Heron nest site. Thy had heard of if but didn't know exactly where. They were impressed with all the nests.
We finished at foot of Davie street, 2 ladies left & Virginia & I went for lunch.
It was a beautiful walk & fresh sea air.
