Saturday 25th Walking Group



Burnaby Lake Pavillon

 On Saturday, September 25, 2010, we took the #20 bus to Broadway Station and caught the Millennium to Burnaby Lake/ Sperling Station. We walked from the station to Burnaby Lake Pavilion where they have rowing on the lake. We ate lunch and enjoyed the views, then we walked back to Station where Linda and Mimi left to go home. The rest of us walked on to Central Valley Bike/Pedestrian trail walk from Burnaby Lake/Sperling Station to Holdom Station where we went to Starbucks and socialized with coffee and snack.
The plaza is between the Holdom Station and Legacy high-rise , there was a neat piece of art work of a steam engine with its face down and underside of train was on 2 or 3 planters.
We were 7 on the walk, Linda, Mimi, Jean, Ken, Marilyn, Odette and Odette's friend Lise who is visiting from Ottawa.
