Walking Club 03 July

July 3 2010 at 10:30 we took the 20 bus to Broadway station and caught the Skytrain to 29th Steert station.  From there we caught the #26 bus to Champlain Mall. Then we walked down Kerr road to Everett Crowley park, which is a beautiful place to walk . We walked down the trail to Avalon Pond there were lots of ducks and ducklings. We had our lunch sitting on a log and large stone. Everett Crowley park is named after a city Alderman who founded the Avalon Dairy at 45th and Wales and you can get Avalon Milk in stores, the chocolate milk is delicious.
After the park we walked back to the mall and had a coffee and caught the #29 bus back to skytain station at 29th went back home.
