Walking Club 10 July

7 people Linda, Jean,Odette, Marilyn, Ken, and 2 new people
Donna caregiver and Amish special needs boy.
We walked down to Commercial/Hastings to catch #153 SFU buss to Willingdon and Hastings. We walked 2 blocks North along Willingdon to Confederation Park. (there is Confederation Park seniors Centre
really nice centre.)
At Confederation Park , there was Italian Festival Regione Puglia. We listened to Lou Marocco sing,  had Pasta, Italian sausage and free coke provided by Coca Cola. Our new friends left at 12:15.
Afterward we walked through the park and then Linda went back to the festival and rest of us went to the train and Rainbow Creek station which is $2.50 to ride and there was model train display. We walked through the trail near the train.
Our walk and day was 5 1/2 hours and we all enjoyed ourselves.
